I have wanted a 617...
I have wanted a 617 with no internal lock for years. Thank you to Lipsey's for making it happen. The tapered barrel on this K-frame Mountain Gun gives it the feel and balance of a Model 18, my other favorite .22 revolver. My new favorite is this one. Fit, finish, and function are all excellent. Love the gold bead front sight. Double action is smooth and single action is crisp. Unlike several of my other .22 revolvers, the chambers are cut properly and do not get tight after a few cylinders of shooting. I put almost 200 rounds through it and loading and ejection were still smooth and easy. It is really a great .22 revolver. Thank you again, S&W and Lipsey's.
