Very nice revolver....
Very nice revolver. Rivals the Anaconda for four hundred dollars less. Bud's service was excellent as usual.

Regretfully not the...
Regretfully not the Smith & Wesson quality I have received in the past. Gone are the pinned barrel forged case hardened trigger and hammers and real attention to detail S&W quality finish I have experienced in the past. After being transferred I noticed the frame scratched evidently the lock keys somehow got loose and came in contact with the frame. Besides the cosmetic injury this new 629 trigger is a poor gritty double action example. I know the factory is too busy saving money to clean after test firing but the residue has stained the stainless and the amount of copper in the barrel appears they test fired it quite a bit. SORRY but if this is the Smith revolver of today they should just quit. This new revolver looks used. Buy a USED 629 S&W of yesterday or a Ruger Redhawk or Colt Anaconda S&W's new doesn't mean quality. Guess I got the lemon off the LE special.
