Very well made with...
Very well made with good fit and finish, just what I would expect from S&W. Fully loaded with .357 Magnum rounds it weighs exactly 16 ounces. The recoil was brutal with .357's due to the minimal weight of the gun, so I think when I carry I will generally use .38's instead.

Lightweight, excellent...
Lightweight, excellent trigger, and great shooter. Full power 357s do hurt after a few but recoil from 38s are barely noticable.

Lightweight, easily...
Lightweight, easily concealable, smooth double-action with the option to shoot single-action. Short extractor rod means the empty cases don't quite exit the cylinder but that's a minor concern. The light weight comes at a cost as even putting 50 rounds of Winchester's .38 Special (not .357 Magnum!) through it bruises the hand; a shooting glove is a must while practicing. I made a conscious decison to trade recoil for light weight and concealment. A plus is the night sight on the barrel; due to loss of near vision as I age, I find the night sight is easier to acquire compared to the ramp sight on my other revolver. Highly recommended.
