I have had a number of SAA revolvers over many years including Colt and US Fire Arms models, some of which were superb examples but this Standard Arms SA revolver is the best one I have ever owned. This revolver is gorgeous with not only impeccable color case hardening and bluing but also perfect finishing, fit and assembly. This Standard Manufacturing handgun reflects the best quality I have ever experienced in a single action revolver, including the beautiful two piece custom fitted walnut grips. The packaging also reflects pure quality and as you open the big black box and see the large logo on the flannel pistol sleeve, you get the feeling that the content is going to be very special, and it truly is. In addition, you receive a document identifying the exact date that manufacturing of the single action was completed and a lifetime warranty. From a shooting standpoint the action is perfect and the trigger pull is a crisp 2-1/2 pounds. Empty cases are easy to eject and some even fall out of the cylinder without using the ejector rod due to the very smooth cylinder cartridge chamber walls.
