A very nice revolver,...
A very nice revolver, although pricey. Recoil not so bad with .45 Colt ammo, kicks like a mule with .410 buckshot. The revolver is massaged nicely from the gunsmith custom shop at Taurus. Every contour is perfect, and the grips are a nice touch. Comes in a nice pelican case, with a placard that says "you've been promoted". I didn't notice it at first but the cylinder release mechanism is extremely loose. I tried to tighten the screw holding it on buds its already tight, sounds like something internally may be worn or loose. Doesn't affect operation and cylinder locks up tight and opens eaily with the latch. I would have expected better tolerances for the price. Buds service was phenomenal along with their shipping. I use a leather 1792 holster for this revolver and it conceals quite well under a jacket. This is great get off me revolver or woods carry revolver.

Just picked this up at...
Just picked this up at my ffl today, first time buying with buds and the transaction was smooth.I feel Taurus really stepped it up with this one. Fit and finish are great with the exception of the grips, little sharp right below the trigger guard. Cylinder lockup is comparable to my colt python, and single action is alot smoother than my other taurus revolver. Double action is aittle stiff but plan to break it in soon. Came in a nice pelican vault case as well. I feel it's worth the asking price if your in the judge series revolvers, the quality is there in my opinion.
