A: Edward - This revolver features a 1:12 twist. The 410 shells need no rifling, and the 45 colt isn't exactly a 'precision' target cartridge anyway, so this twist rate is sufficient. In fact, this just isn't a 'precision target firearm'.

A: yes it will shoot slugs with no issues it may cause leading of the barrel so clean it good after using slugs (like any soft cast bullet)
