First Taurus ever....
First Taurus ever. Wanted an 8 shot 357 Magnum, preferably stainless. Liked the sights, grips, and price. Five stars; would buy it again. Shoots magnums and specials well. Good trigger. Double action took about 40 rounds to break in, but after that it is really good. Single action is a little on the heavy side. It has an adjustable trigger, but I left it be. Don't want light primer strikes. Grips fit the hand great and have good texture. They are hard so when shooting strong 357 Magnums, slight recoil is felt in the web of the hand. For shooting 38 Specials fast, the grips are great. Fired brass extracts perfect. Loads smooth with speed loaders. Only negative is the 3 moon clips. Very hard to load rounds. I don't use moon clips anyway but would recommend better ones like Wilson Combat or TK Custom. Very satisfied with the 608C.
