Its forged steel, case-hardened frame, round barrel, plain cylinder, brass triggerguard, steel backstrap, and Army-sized walnut grip preserve the character of the original conversion pattern. Modern-friendly details include a frame-mounted loading gate and a concealed casing poker built into the loading lever. An eight-inch barrel and traditional blade-and-notch sights complete the period-inspired configuration.
