The Taylor & Company's...
The Taylor & Company's 1873 Cattlemans 45 SA relvolver I purchased was advertised as being Tuned, which I paid a premium price for. I can not believe this pistol has ever seen a gunsmith's bench. When I opened the box & had to do a safety test at my FFl dealer's shop, I could hardly get the loading gate open to load the dummy cartridge. The pull on the Hammer & Trigger measured right at 6lbs. The grip fit to the back strap metal is atrocious, they just threw the grip on & tossed in the box, quality control was non-existent. I will have to pay my gunsmith to make it usable. I do not trust to send it back !!!!!!
