Although not fired...
Although not fired yet, I really like the features of this revolver. I have tested the "floating firing pin" with the cylinder removed and can tell you this is a neat innovation. I do not own any original colts but see why the hammer on an empty chamber was necessary. I would feel safe loading all six chambers on this revolver for carrying purposes.

This firearm, The...
This firearm, The Drifter, made by Uberti, and imported by Taylor's & CO, is as expected. What attracted me to it, is the octagonal barrel. I have not yet had it to the range, but if it's like my other Uberti guns, it should be fairly accurate. The only negative with this gun, as with all the other recreations, is the lack of adjustable sights. But once you learn where to hold on target, they are excellent shooters.
