The revolver has a good finish, the advantage of this replica is that it has the transfer bar and one can load six cartridges, the handling and the action are great, that more you can say to shoot these iconic revolvers is a pleasure

This product seems...
This product seems nicely made, a Traditions M1873 SAA by Pietta, sliding block safety model. I did smooth the joints of the grip and the strap, which was a bit rough. My only remaining issue has been that the firing pin was solidly pressed into its channel, not a relaxed fit at all. Once it was hit with the hammer, it stayed forward and would block against the cartridge head and prevent the cylinder from turning, needing quite a bit of force to push it back. Applying a slick oil, I have been working the firing pin forward and back, using the tip of a knife to push back, and usually the slap of the hammer to push forward, hundreds of times, creating a degree of wear, and the movement is gradually loosening up. Meanwhile, this is a painstaking process. Even this method seems slightly more convenient than grinding the middle out of a screwdriver to disassemble the pin and its housing, but I continually entertain that option. I'm a bit surprised by this problem, but once this is fixed, everything else seems fine and dandy. It is a pretty piece, and it will be nice when it is a reliable piece as well, in the near future.

With regard to single...
With regard to single action authenticity, I would give this model an 85%. Negatives are no floating firing pin, trigger sets too far forward in hammer-down position, and trigger has a sharp-edge feel. No four-click hammer. Realizing the weapon is new, the cylinder pin is difficult to remove. Have not fired the weapon and therefore cannot on accuracy. Overall a nice looking weapon with smooth action.
