The 2A Armament AR-22 is an ultralight semi-automatic rifle chambered in .22 LR. It combines a billet 7075-T6 upper and lower receiver with a lightweight fluted barrel featuring a rifled 4140 steel insert. The 16.5-inch barrel has a 1/2x28 threaded muzzle and includes a thread protector. A 12-inch M-LOK handguard, BCM Mod 4 charging handle, Magpul MIAD grip, Mission First Tactical minimalist stock, and ALG-ACT trigger create a familiar AR-pattern setup for training, recreational shooting, and lightweight field use. Depending on the lower and rail configuration, the rifle weighs approximately 3 pounds 10 ounces or 3 pounds 11 ounces. One 15-round magazine is included.
