Description
Product Overview
The Adcor Defense BEAR (Brown Enhanced Automatic Rifle) is a gas piston-operated AR-15 pattern carbine chambered in 223 Remington. With a permanently attached piston to the bolt carrier, the system is designed to reduce the issues associated with carrier tilt while retaining the familiar AR-15 ergonomics. The 16-inch barrel, M4-style collapsing synthetic stock, and manual lever safety make it a practical, field-ready semi-automatic rifle platform.
Key Features
- AR-15 pattern controls with a standard rear charging handle plus a forward folding non-reciprocating charging handle
- 16-inch carbine barrel for a compact, balanced handling profile
- Manual lever safety and standard AR-15 trigger setup
- Gas piston operation with a piston permanently attached to the bolt carrier
- M4-type collapsing synthetic stock
Built on an AR-15 pattern platform, the BEAR is an easy-to-live-with semi-auto rifle configuration for everyday use and range sessions.

Really disappointed...
Really disappointed experience with this rifle. The main problem is accuracy problem. The best group I can get is about 4 Inch size at 100 yard range. Big difference with the advertised under 1 MOA accuracy at 100 yard!!!! Evert shot was from bench rest. Tried most ammo from 40gr to 77 gr. Not my control problem, not optic problem, not optic base and ring problem. Nothing contact with the free float barrel. Second, the bolt dust wiper was broken during normal shooting when I was trying to address the accuracy problem. Bad Quality!!! Then when I Try to contact Adcor customer service, it is also terrible!!! Send 4 emails wrote about the two problems above NONE of them replied!! NO reply !!!! Not late reply, I got NO REPLY !!!!! Next I call them to see how to solve the problem, they answer it at my second call. It was quit good communication during the phone call, and they said they will send me a box so that I can return the upper to fix it. I accepted and filled out a form on their website as they request. Then I called them again to make sure they have my fill out form. They told me they have and I will get the box just in 2-3 days. After a week till now, I got nothing from them!!!! Called them over 30 time, no one answer!!!! I don't know how are the others rifle they sold, What I got is just piece of JUNK!!! NOT even better than a $500 gas impingement AR!!!!

What an amazing rifle!...
What an amazing rifle! shot 120 rounds out of the box and it shot flawless, very tight groupings at 45 yards. A nice feature that makes the Adcor B.E.A.R. stand out is the forward charging handle, which attaches to the op rod and rides in a slot along the rail. It's non-reciprocating, can be attached for right- or left-hand shooters and has a spring that prevents the handle from snagging when not in use. It also allows the shooter to work the bolt without raising the head out of shooting position, and, unlike on a gas-impingement gun, the forward charging handle can be used to lock the slide using only one hand. In testing, the forward charging handle was more than just a neat idea, it was downright functional. Buds service was as always the best very fast! I'm glad to be a VIP member I would highly recommend it.

This is my first AR...
This is my first AR style rifle and I love it so far. I have shot about 200 rounds thru it so far and not even a hiccup. I put magpul flip up sights on it and was shooting quarter size groupings at 45 yrds in 10 minutes. Very smooth and good looking rifle, nice and tight. Only small bad note I can put on it is I wasn't impressed with the box it ships in. Cardboard with no kind of egg crate liner or anything. I would gladly have paided 20 bucks for them to put it in a cheap plastic egg crate gun case instead of it showing up with a couple of good sized marred spots. One on the forward assist and another above it. Lucky I had a bluing kit and they aren't as noticable as before. Great gun tho don't get me wrong, shoots great and you will love it!
