Product Overview
The American Built Arms MOD X Gen III Howa 1500 is a bolt-action centerfire rifle built around a modular aluminum chassis for hunting and precision shooting. Its 20-inch barrel is chambered in .308 Win and 7.62x51 NATO, while the chassis accepts AICS-style MDT magazines and AR-15 pattern buttstocks and pistol grips. A 13.5-inch free-floating forearm provides M-LOK mounting positions on all sides, and the integrated 0 MOA Mil-Spec 1913 rail is ready for an optic. The rifle includes the AB Arms Urban Sniper Stock X, AB Arms SBR PGrip, and a Plano rifle case.

This is a well built...
This is a well built rifle, cant beat the price. I first owned this rifle in the 6.5 creedmoor. I used my 6.5 for everything however ammo can be a bit pricey so I decided to buy a .308 to save on ammo. This rifle is great. Even with a heavy barrel it is still relatively light. The only thing I would change is the pistol grip as it is almost to thin in my hand but doesnt effect my shooting. I added a key mod picatinny rail and attached a bi pod. Solid rifle.
