This was my first...
This was my first purchase through Bud's & that experience itself was great. I ordered this rifle due to it's versatility and upgrade potential. I inspect it thoroughly at the FFL dealer & quickly took it home to clean & lube it. I took out shooting with a group of friends & was excited to pop some rounds. Locked the clip in, loaded the chamber, then SPLAT! NOTHING! I took out what I thought may have been a defective round and tried again. SPLAT! NOTHING! At this point I felt like a maroon standing there with a brand new rifle that failed on it's first two attempts. I greased the inside up then it finally began to chew up some ammo until about the 90th round. SPLAT! NOTHING! At this point I put it away & busted out with the other toys. Once home I tore it down and gave it a good cleaning. I found that the ammo feed is where some rounds were getting stuck on the way in & perhaps that was contributing to the FTE's as well. Fast forward to a few months later when I take it to the range. It did better but I still hade over 10 FTL's & FTE's when blowing out roughly 400 rounds. I took it home & began to tear it down again when I noticed that the upper composite receiver housing was cracked! And only with 2 legit uses in a 2 year period! The upper receiver is made by Chaippa Arms & although I haven't contacted them about a possible warranty I feel really let down with this product. So much so that I'm going to convert it into a .223 and not mess with replacing the upper with a Chiappa product. You get what you pay for!!

Why buy a .22LR that...
Why buy a .22LR that LOOKS like an AR ... This IS an AR! Right out of the box, this gun blew through 200 rounds of cheap .22LR without even a hiccup. This gun could probably do so much more (being a TRUE AR lower) but "AS IS" it is a great little gun. The price is incredible for this much fun ... Stock up on ammo
