The Arsenal Firearms Saiga SGL31-61 is a semi-automatic 5.45x39mm Soviet rifle built on a Russian made stamped receiver with a factory-style AK74 configuration. It features a hammer-forged chrome-lined barrel, an AK74-style front sight assembly with bayonet lug, and 24x1.5 RH muzzle threads for mounting muzzle devices. A US-made double stage trigger group and mil-spec polymer furniture provide a reliable, ergonomic shooting setup, while the included scope rail supports optic mounting.

Arsenal really does...
Arsenal really does make an AK that shames other production AK's. No canted sights, tight magazine well and perfectly sighted in right out of the factory. Love it so much,I decided to stop building an AR and put my money toward another Arsenal but in 7.62.

Fast shipping as usual. I have CAI Bulgarian AK 74 which i love so it was interesting to compare with the Arsenal. Overall the rifle has excellent fit & finish with quality furniture. I did change out the butt stock for an Arsenal folder to get the correct LOP for us Americans. Ran 40 rounds of surplus 50gr just to function check. Typical AK...no issues. Going to further mod it with US Palm fore grip (for an optic) and pistol grip. Like the other AK 74 it's a pleasure to shoot with little recoil and no muzzle flip.
