The Arsenal Firearms SGL23-61 Saiga is a California-compliant semi-automatic rifle chambered in 7.62x39mm Soviet. Its Russian-made stamped receiver and hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel provide a durable foundation for reliable use. The rifle features a fixed synthetic stock, standard mil-spec handguards with a stainless steel heat shield, a front sight block with bayonet lug, and a 1000-meter rear sight leaf. A scope rail supports the addition of an optic, while the factory-threaded muzzle uses 24x1.5 right-hand threads and includes a thread protector. The rifle is supplied with one 10-round US-made non-detachable magazine and a magazine key tool.

Great AK! Super...
Great AK! Super accurate out of the box, Arsenal laser sights it and test fires it and includes the test target. Everything I aim at I hit with this thing and its more fun to shoot than my AR and more solid, I don't feel like I can hurt this thing. It is just made out of stamped metal and the stocks are plastic and if the gun got really hot I don't think the plastic would last, I'll put wood furniture on it eventually. Never remove the built in barrel cleaning rod! The flash suppressor is so big that you cant get the rod out from under it with out scratching the bottom of the suppressor unless you put a cloth between them. Overall its the best AK as far as accuracy and build quality and thats why it costs a little more. You can buy a Romanian made AK but it will be "chincy" compared to this guy. Get the Saiga. Took about 9 days to get the gun to my FFL, then I waited 10 days more, worth the wait.
