Highly recommended! A very solidly built and accurate version of the AK. I know it's pricey, but worth it. Every bit as accurate as a AR and more dependable. I've put several hundred rounds through this rifle with no failures of any kind. My one and only extremely minor complaint is about the cheap cardboard box in which it arrives. Bud's was excellent as always.

Beautiful gun and fast, reliable service as always. The SAM7 feels heavy and well-made. No rattles or loose components with great fit and finish. Sights were not canted and all of the lettering is well engraved and easy to read. Arsenal still lives up to their great reputation even during these difficult times. 5/5 stars easily. Thrilled to have finally gotten one.

These rifles came in a...
These rifles came in a lightweight; and mangled corrugated factory cardboard box. It was so flimsy; the unprotected charging handle of one of the rifles tore a hole through it and the good packaging box Buds used to ship them in. Needles to say the charging handle had scraped several floors during transport and needed to be re-profiled and re-blued. The samples I received were straight and true on both; with no cant in the sights on either sample. The hammer forged and machined receiver felt solid; although with chatter/tooling marks on both. The sprayed finish was overall good and there were no loose parts. Smooth cycling actions with a solid/robust build quality. For the price of the rifle; a plastic case is a no brainer for better protection in transport/shipping and a nice touch; it shows they care about their products and your satisfaction. They should consider following Windham Weaponry as an example of quality and service. The Arsenal rifles have been known to have varying degrees of canted sights and their finish is known to flake off, bubble and eventually rust. Broken hammer/trigger parts have also occurred. These rifles do have great specifications which should allow the rifle to last a lifetime; but cost cutting has found many companies compromising on quality in certain areas and knowing the strengths and weak points of the design sample you receive, will allow you to purchase spare parts or upgrade to better components as needed. Please remember. When caught in the exciting and anticipating moments of picking up your new purchase; it is easy to overlook the very important inspection process. It is VERY important to remember that once you fill out the 4473 and leave the dealer; the item is yours and considered used.(even if unfired). You may have to deal with rude, sarcastic companies with a lack of customer service. You will have to ship your rifle to them; usually on your own dime and wait weeks or months to get it back.( Possibly in no better shape, or worse than when you sent it in). I have never had to deal with Arsenal customer service; so I am unable to judge them on any of my experiences. As difficult as it may be; you are better of refusing any item if something/anything from perfect does not meet your satisfaction.Buds return shipping is free. Although you may be aggravated to receive a bad product; accept it simply to prevent waiting another week or two for a new one. Accepting an item you think you can "fix" may leave you stuck in a worse situation on your own and with typically longer delays of weeks or months before it is questionably repaired. Or you may get the "product is within spec" and get it shipped back with nothing done. Good solid build quality on the two samples received. Would recommend with caution and a good inspection before accepting what was shipped. Thanks
