The Barrett M98B is a precision bolt-action rifle chambered in .338 Lapua and configured with a 27-inch fluted barrel for long-range performance. Its skeletonized aluminum stock provides adjustable comb height, cheek position, and elevation, while the adjustable trigger can be set from 2 to 3.5 pounds. A thumb-operated manual safety, oversized bolt handle, detachable 10-round magazine, and full-length Picatinny rail support practical field use and optic customization. This configuration includes a bipod, monopod, and two magazines. Factory standard models do not include iron sights, so an optic is required for aiming.
