The Barrett MRAD is a modular bolt-action precision rifle designed for consistent performance and straightforward configuration changes. This model features a 26-inch fluted barrel chambered in .338 Lapua and uses a user-changeable barrel system secured by two bolts. Compatible barrel kits allow the platform to be configured for .300 Win Mag, .308 Win, .260 Remington, and 6.5 Creedmoor. A fully adjustable match-grade trigger lets the shooter tailor the trigger module to personal preference. The thumb-operated manual safety can be configured for left- or right-hand operation, while the ambidextrous magazine release remains accessible without changing the firing grip. The folding stock locks securely in the extended position and incorporates an adjustable cheek piece and five-position length of pull. The 7000 series aluminum upper receiver includes a 21.75-inch M1913 top rail with a 20 MOA taper for mounting a precision optic. The forward receiver is drilled and tapped for accessory rails, and quick-detach sling mounts support practical field setup. Finished in Barrett Multi-Role Brown FDE/Tan, the MRAD combines a rigid precision platform with adaptable transport and maintenance features.
