Product Overview
The Barrett REC7 Gen 2 is a 5.56 NATO semi-automatic rifle built around forged 7075 aluminum receivers with Type 3 Class 2 hardcoat anodizing and a gray Cerakote finish. Its short-stroke gas piston system drives a free-floated, hammer-forged, chrome-lined 16-inch barrel for dependable cycling and sustained durability. M4 feed ramps are machined into the receiver and barrel extension, while the single-stage trigger provides a straightforward trigger pull. A collapsible synthetic stock makes the rifle easier to transport and adjust, and the railed upper receiver supports the addition of an optic. The threaded muzzle is equipped with a mil-spec A2 flash hider.
