The Barrett REC7 is a semi-automatic piston-operated rifle built around forged 7075-T6 aluminum upper and lower receivers. Its 16-inch barrel uses a 1:7 twist rate and is fitted with a Barrett three-prong muzzle device. A two-position gas plug, one-piece piston, and integrated Strike Face anti-tilt bolt carrier provide a robust operating system. The rifle includes a free-float M-LOK rail, flip-up iron sights, a Magpul six-position collapsible stock, and a Magpul polymer pistol grip. With a 30-round magazine and a compact 33.3-inch minimum overall length, it is configured for versatile range and field use.
