All blued gun....
All blued gun. Beautiful dark satin finished walnut stocks with clean checkering. Wood to metal fit is perfect. Cursory inspection and cleaning confirmed satisfaction with craftsmanship. Preliminary firing of 70 rounds of factory S&B jacketed ammunition yielded zero mechanical flaws. Action functioned smoothly and flawlessly. Quite happy with this rifle.

The rifle needs to be...
The rifle needs to be tuned by a competent cowboy action gunsmith. At a minimum, the carrier will need to be replaced with a brass carrier from VTI gun parts. Excellent stocks! A very good bargain for the cowboy action shooter.
