The Beretta Cx4 Storm is a compact semi-automatic carbine chambered in .40 S&W. Its 16.6-inch barrel, lightweight synthetic thumbhole stock, and blowback action provide a practical platform for range use and personal protection training. The carbine includes ghost ring sights, an adjustable front post, and a full-length aluminum top Picatinny rail for mounting optics. Its reversible ejection and extraction system, reversible safety, and reversible magazine controls accommodate both right- and left-handed shooters. The length of pull adjusts from 13.25 to 15 inches with spacers, while the rubber recoil pad improves shooting comfort.

I bought this many...
I bought this many years ago and put a Beretta barrel shroud on it...for looks. However, this is my favorite weapon to shoot. I - - - get more .40 cal rounds than I can shoot. What I like about this weapon is I can keep it in the bulls eye while shooting rapidly. There is virtually no recoil so it is easy to put all your rounds where you want to pretty quickly. I've never had a malfunction with this weapon.

I wanted a pistol and...
I wanted a pistol and pistol-caliber carbine that use the same magazines, and the CX combined with the PX pistol satisfies that need. Over 1000 rounds without a glitch. Almost feels like a bullpup because it's so compact. I purchased an extra bolt handle, run with a pair installed on either side. The front sight is a black post, not easy to locate in a hurry. I've painted that sight with fluorescent green paint as a stopgap measure, but another solution is needed.
