The 22-inch 4140 chromium-molybdenum steel No. 5 taper barrel is paired with a 1:8-inch twist rate to stabilize modern high-performance 7mm PRC hunting loads. A smooth two-lug bolt, coned bolt nose and breech, sliding plate extractor, and hinged floor plate support reliable operation in the field.

Bud's is always great. The rifle is great too. First check torque on the action screws. Mine were loose. Went from 1.5 moa to .75 just from checking the screws. Good trigger. Can't wait to see what it'll do after break-in.
