Product Overview
The Brigade Manufacturing Makasi combines the visual character of the FAL with the familiar controls and magazine compatibility of an AR-style rifle. This semi-automatic rifle uses a short-stroke gas piston system with suppressed and unsuppressed settings, while its bufferless recoil system keeps the operating components contained within the upper receiver. A non-reciprocating left-side charging handle provides convenient manipulation without interfering with the shooter's firing grip. The rifle features billet upper and lower receivers, a 16-inch 4150 nitride barrel with a 1:7 twist, and a 12-inch free-float M-Lok handguard finished in Burnt Bronze Cerakote. Its left-folding Strike Industries stock and FAL-inspired controls create a distinctive configuration, while the integrated Picatinny rail supports a wide range of optics and accessories.
