The Browning BAR ShortTrac is a gas-operated semi-automatic rifle chambered in .300 WSM. Its aircraft-grade alloy receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts, while the hammer-forged barrel and rotary bolt provide dependable operation for hunting applications. The rifle features a durable composite stock with Mossy Oak Break-Up Infinity camouflage and Dura Touch treatment, a detachable box magazine, composite trigger guard and floor plate, and an easy-to-use cross-bolt safety. Sling swivel studs and an interchangeable recoil pad are installed from the factory.
