The Browning X-Bolt 2 Composite Hunter is a right-hand bolt action rifle chambered in 6.8 Western. Its lightweight composite Vari-Tech stock provides adjustable comb height and length of pull, along with interchangeable sporter and vertical grip modules for a more personalized fit. Overmolded gripping surfaces and a thick Inflex recoil pad improve control and shooting comfort in demanding conditions. The 24-inch sporter contour steel barrel is free floated and threaded M13x0.75 at the muzzle. A radial muzzle brake and thread protector are included. The redesigned X-Bolt 2 receiver and spiral-fluted bolt provide smooth cycling, while the adjustable DLX trigger offers a clean release. A top-tang manual safety and bolt unlock button support safe handling during unloading and chamber checks. The rifle is drilled and tapped for scope mounts and uses a detachable three-round magazine.
