The action is bedded at the recoil lug and action screws, and the barrel is free-floated to support repeatable accuracy. A redesigned receiver and bolt improve cycling, while the short 60-degree bolt lift clears larger optics. The adjustable DLX trigger comes factory set at 3.5 pounds and can be adjusted down to 3 pounds. A top-tang safety and bolt unlock button provide convenient control during handling, checking, and unloading. The rifle accepts a detachable three-round magazine and is drilled and tapped for scope mounts.
