The Browning X-Bolt 2 Mountain Pro SPR is a lightweight bolt-action rifle designed for serious big game hunting. Its carbon fiber stock combines strength and low weight with an adjustable comb that provides a precise 1-inch range of height adjustment. Spacers allow the length of pull to be tailored to the shooter, while the 1.25-inch Inflex recoil pad improves shooting comfort. Chambered in 7mm PRC, the rifle uses a 20-inch spiral-fluted stainless steel barrel with a sporter contour and 5/8x24 muzzle threading. The threaded muzzle is fitted with a Smoked Bronze Cerakote Recoil Hawg muzzle brake and includes a thread protector. A stainless steel receiver, fluted bolt, lightweight aluminum bolt handle, and carbon fiber bedding block further reduce weight while supporting smooth operation and consistent accuracy. The top-tang manual safety works with Browning's Bolt Unlock Button for safer unloading and chamber checks. The adjustable DLX Trigger is preset at 3.5 pounds and can be adjusted down to 3.0 pounds. An integrated Picatinny rail at the fore-end provides a convenient bipod mounting point, while the receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounting.
