Good job Bud's. Fast and simple! What a smooth action this rifle has and the stock is phenomenal. A little spendy, but this weapon is the definition of you get what you pay for though. I splurged and put a Sworovski Z3 3-10X42 scope on it. Tack driver. And did I mention how smooth the action is??!! Easy to adjust the trigger too.

First, good about...
First, good about Bud's - excellent. Gun arrived exactly when promised and in perfect condition. Next, good about the gun - action is smooth, rounds feed perfectly from the magazine, the bolt locks up tightly and empty shells eject cleanly. Two position safety is OK since you are able to release the bolt by way of a separate button. The 60 degree throw is excellent - you do not even come close to hitting the scope with your hand. Now the not-so-good. I have never owned a gun that is so particular about the ammo you feed it. I have tried eight different brands and weights of quality ammo and, after more than 80 rounds, I have yet to feel comfortable that my first shot will hit the mark. I use the steel Talley mounts and rings that Browning recommends and I have tried two different scopes with similar results. Best I can get is 2 inch groups at 100 yards - does not give me any confidence at 350 yards! I know what you are thinking - maybe the problem is me. Well, I thought the same thing so I asked other experienced shooters to take their turns with sampler packs of ammo. Sadly, Browning has lost a lot of potential customers around here! Next time I will save my money and buy another Weatherby - at least I know it will eat anything you feed it and hit the mark every time!
