Service from BUDS is...
Service from BUDS is and has always been 5 star. I would be hard pressed to use anyone other than BUDS! As for the rifle, it arrived in perfect condition. The fit and finish are top notch, which has been my experience overall with Browning. The bolt is very smooth, and not as large as I was expecting it to be for the 375 HH round. Although I have not officially compared it, the bolt on my 30-06 browning hunter looks to be about the same size or a tad larger. I have not had time to take the weapon to the range yet, however, should be doing so in short order. The rifle is very light. A have a 22LR Varmit heavier than this rifle. I am curious to see how the weight of the rifle, coupled with default recoil pad will be. I am not one who usually buys synthetic stocks, as I prefer wooden stocks hands down. The stock is very comfortable in the hand, and the palm swell feels right on for a right handed shooter. I am a tall shooter, and I did notice that using the iron sights, I do have to really force my head into a lower position which typically I do not have to do on other rifles with iron sights. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase, and would recommend this rifle if you are looking for a weather resistant hunting rifle. If the weather does not play a part in your decision making, there are some very nice CZ rifle, in the same caliber, which would also fit the bill perfectly. I do like the trigger on the CZ's better than the browning trigger - the single set trigger is just incredible.
