Its 16-inch chrome-lined chromoly steel barrel provides a durable, compact configuration, while the carbine-length handguards and fixed A2 stock offer a balanced, familiar handling profile. The forged aluminum receivers feature a hard-anodized, manganese phosphate-coated finish. A fixed carry handle houses the M16A2 rear sight system, paired with an adjustable A2 front sight post for practical iron-sight use. The rifle ships with one 10-round magazine.

OMFG I LOVE THIS...
OMFG I LOVE THIS THING!!! If you want one, but need to pinch pennies, you can do it here with absolutely no decrease in quality, its made by bushmaster, very nice quality all around, the picture here doesn't do it justice! Was in the Army, got out a few months ago, and life just wasn't right without one of these babies in my hands. Once you zero it, the accuracy is amazing! Also, its compatible with .223 or 5.56 (if you have some leftovers like me), even shot that crap ammo from wolf, over 100 rounds of it in fact WITH NOT A SINGLE JAM OR DAMAGE TO THE EJECTOR. There may be cheaper Ar-15's on buds, but for the us poor guys who live in Ban States, this is one of THE BEST ways to go. Buy it, before they're gone for good or prices go up!
