The Bushmaster C15 .22 LR is a lightweight semi-automatic rifle built around AR-15-style controls for economical practice and familiar manual-of-arms training. Its corrosion-resistant carbon fiber composite receivers and fixed stock help keep the rifle light, while the blowback operating bolt is machined from titanium. The 16-inch chrome-moly vanadium steel barrel uses a 1:16-inch twist and is suitable for .22 LR high-velocity ammunition. Adjustable iron sights include a dual-aperture rear sight with windage adjustment and an A2 square-post front sight with elevation adjustment.
