The Bushmaster MOE M4 Carbine is an AR-pattern semi-automatic rifle chambered for .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO. It combines a 16-inch chrome-lined M4 barrel with a forged A3 flat-top upper receiver for dependable service and straightforward optic mounting. Flat Dark Earth Magpul MOE furniture provides a comfortable, adjustable shooting platform, while the Magpul MBUS rear sight and standard A2 front sight offer a practical backup sighting system. The rifle includes one 30-round Magpul PMAG and features anodized aluminum upper and lower receivers.

This is by no means a...
This is by no means a bad rifle but I believe there are better and cheaper options available. While both the description and picture show an enhanced tripper guard, I did not receive one. A hard trigger pull is to be expected in a mil-spec rifle, but this one has a fair amount of creep in it as well. Lastly, I'd like to know who decided not to pony up 4 extra dollars for a gen 3 mag. The gen 2 is still a great mag but for $700 I'd like the little extra value. The rifle shot well and is going to be accurate enough for me and 99% of shooters out there. My suggestion for anyone considering this rifle is to buy the DPMS Panther LCAR (Bud's currently has it for $450), buy the FDE stock, grip, trigger guard,and hand guard (around $75 on Bud's), and drop in a $100-$150 trigger. If you can put together IKEA furniture, you can do this. The Panther does not have a chrome lined barrel but it does have a chrome-moly vanadium nitrided barrel. This barrel should last almost as long as the chrome lined while being more accurate and more corrosion resistant. My point is; you'll likely end up with a rifle that looks as good while performing better for less money. Hope this helps.\\r\ \\r\ Bret

The only thing good...
The only thing good about this rifle is that it looks cool. This rifle is junk. It fails every time I take it shooting. It is the worst gun I have ever owned. I have never been more disappointed in a gun purchase than this one! Never again will I listen to the hype over the AR15 style rifles. You can not trust this rifle!
