The Bushmaster QRC II is a semiautomatic rifle chambered in 5.56 NATO and compatible with .223 Remington ammunition. It combines a 16-inch salt bath nitride finished 4150 CMV barrel with a 1:7 twist rate and 1/2x28 threading. The forged 7075 aluminum A4 flat-top upper receiver and 14-inch free-float rail provide a stable foundation for mounting optics and accessories. A carbine-length gas system, M4 adjustable stock, A2 pistol grip, A2 birdcage flash hider, and Mil-Spec trigger complete the practical XM15-E2S configuration.
