The Bushmaster XM-10 Gen 1 is a semi-automatic rifle chambered for both .308 Win and 7.62x51 NATO. Its 16-inch chrome-moly steel barrel is chrome-lined for durability and uses a 1:10 twist rate. The rifle features an aluminum receiver, A2 flash hider, single-stage trigger, and a six-position collapsible synthetic stock. It ships without factory sights and is configured for mounting an optic.

Bushmaster XM-10 very loud and light weight. the only thing I can't find is a handguard with railings. I have a great vortex viper scope. Targeting is awesome I'm very happy with this firearm.

I'm in love. This is a wonderful weapon! Ordered on a Friday, shipped Saturday. At my FFL Dealer Wednesday! First time I've dealt with Buds. Couldn't be more pleased. Installed a Nikon Buckmasters II 4-12x40 Scope and a Limbsaver Tactical Snap-On Recoil Pad, zeroed this rifle at 100 yards with very little effort. Very smooth and accurate. Recoil? Well, yeah…it's a .308. I have fired bolt action .308s before, and being a small woman, I was somewhat concerned. However, I found this rifle easy for me to fire and control.
