This is my first AK...
This is my first AK and I had a hard time trying to decide which brand and model to choose from. In the end I decided to stick with this make and model since I did not want to spend a whole lot on setting the rifle up to be tactical and I am really glad that I did. As soon as I got the rifle from my ffl dealer I installed a bushnell trs25 for my optics and a 300 lumen tact light. With that setup she turned out to be extremely tactical looking. At the range I shot 2 - 3 inch groups at 50 yards. I shot about 200 rounds using steel cased ammo from wolf. Shot every one of them with no problems. I also like the ambi charging lever! I shoot both with my left and my right hand. I would recommend this ak to anyone who is looking for an inexpensive and a reliable ak for first time owners. Thank you Buds for making this happen!

Just picked up this...
Just picked up this rifle a few hours ago at my local gun range. This ak is just amazing. very light and the parts are very well built. such a great price like everything here on buds! century arms really do good this time. absolutely no mag wobble with the tapco mags (had some wobble with other mags like 40rd and other imported ones) this came with the a2 birdcage muzzle break. amazing reset also on the tapcp G2 trigger. this rifle looks very nice with a vortex sparc gen1 on it or any other close range optics. now i just need to buy more rounds to break this thing in and zero in the sparc on it. I definitely recommend this rifle to anyone that enjoys 7.62x39mm

I Love this gun ! I...
I Love this gun ! I Shot 100rds thru it at the range. All I done was slightly lube the rail as it was pretty factory dry,and after that it had a smooth smooth action and did not misfeed once. Also I really do reccomend this model for the close quarters end sights and the dual bolt hand grabs. It has one on each side so its easy to get to from both sides. This model also had the upright tactical handhold that really makes it easy to aim. I was able to put a tasco 42mm red dot on it and that really helped. Even before adding the red dot I shot a box of twenty rds fmj right out of the box 1 into the bullseye and all other 19 into a 2" group less than one inch from bulleye center. I found this gun to not have much recoil and its a sweet shooting gun. I cant hardly wait to go hog hunting with this excellent weapon. oh by the way just for all you intrested you will need a way to connect a tactical 2 point sling to this gun as it doesnt have a normal ak-47 wasr style attachment on the front barrel. I had to spend an extra $21.00 on a picatiney rail swivel to attach my sling for the two point . The gun has one loop at the rear stock which makes it to far back for a single sling unless you get a belt loop ring style for around the front stock narrow area FYI
