Really nice AKM, I...
Really nice AKM, I looked long and hard at all AK's on the market and this one fit the bill. Built in Romania, not US was a big factor on me choosing this gun. I have owned a lot of AK's over 30 some years and this is a really nice gun, the hinged receiver cover is a great idea and doesn't hinder cleaning, hammered forged barrel and trunion, recoil from this AK CGR is a little more than others I have shot, but not to bad, will be adding a mini tantal muzzle break on it, should help. Not all mags will fit this gun, the front to back fit in the magazine opening is a little tight and it wont let the thicker mags tilt into the opening. The furniture is nice and smooth finish, the optic rail is polymer and is very rigid, but aluminium would be better, Nova Modul makes the new aluminium replacement but getting one is not possible at the moment, I emailed them and asked, the said they are working on a distributor in the states, would be nice to get parts from them. I wish they would have done a cerikote finish instead of the black oxide, but over the finish is nice. Shoot's like an AK, though its seem's lighter than my Pioneer folder, great gun, to bad they don't import them in anymore
