I've read many mixed...
I've read many mixed reviews about Christensen arms. In my experience, they are second to not as far as factory made rifles. This one in particular is very accurate. I have shot out to 900 yards with a Burris eliminator scope with no issues with factory, 212 gr ELD-X ammo.

Great rifle! I...
Great rifle! I purchased this strictly to shoot from the bench, and because of my curiosity of this new caliber. I will try to cover all the bases here. Thought it was a good deal, scince just the stock sells for over 700.00 on Christensen's site. The stock is very comfortable (had to fabricate an additional spacer to accomodate my long reach and also a spacer to raise the cheekpiece for the 56mm Athlon). Now, on to the fun! Only 2 rounds were available to me, both from Hornady, a 212gr ELDX and a 225gr match (white box), the latter being the one I chose. The barrel fouls quickly, so be sure to take along your cleaning kit and use it liberaly for the first 10-15 rounds. After sight-in, I only fired 3-shot groups at 200 yds, trying not to rush things. In almost every set of 3, 2 holes touched or slightly cloverleafed, with 1 of the 3 off about an inch in a random direction. I expect it to get better with more rds down the tube. Gotta give the beautiful, seamless muzzle brake credit for allowing me to sit behind this thing with a grin even after almost 40 rounds, as I am 175 lbs, slight-to avg build. Great rifle, Christensen Arms, and great price and service, Buds Guns!

This rifle looks and...
This rifle looks and preforms great. The fit and finish is very nice, muzzle break is seamless. I topped it with a Nightforce SHV 5-20x56 and used the nightforce direct mount for Rem 700 action. At 100 yards it shot about 3/4 MOA with Hornady ELDM 225gr factory ammo, and 1/2 MOA with Hornady ELDX precision hunter 212 gr factory ammo. The 212's also were about 3/4 MOA at 300, but I think there was some shooter error. The muzzle break does a great job at reducing recoil, however it has quite a bit of concussion which is directed out the sides. With the scope and loaded magazine its a bit heavy to pack for hunting but preforms great for a factory rifle off the bench.
