Disappointing. Don't...
Disappointing. Don't risk it. Shot about 40 rounds through it. Groups were about 5 moa no matter what load. Sporadic spread. Sometimes a flier would go completely off the paper, hahaha. Such an expensive gun to shoot like that. Christiansen was a nightmare to deal with so I called a gunsmith. I told him I a have a new 338lm that won't shoot. When I said it was Christiansen he instantly said "oh, it needs a new barrel." I laughed. He asked if I had been through warranty and I said they were making it miserable and I needed to get the gun shooting for a hunt. He did me a favor and re-barreled it quickly. My $2k rifle was now a $3k rifle. After he pulled the barrel he showed me that it was a mess inside for about 6 inches explaining the unstable bullet flight. This tells me they have no quality control. The first group I shot on the new barrel to break in was .5! Christiansen Arms is a mess. After talking to the gunsmith he recounted like a dozen nightmare stories he had helped customers through. Even fighting on there behalf for warranty service. After that, a quick Google search revealed I was just one of hundreds of people who got screwed. Some people sent guns back multiple times and even got new barrels and they still were awful. Don't risk it. Try one of the other awesome companies who makes similar guns.
