The 20-inch barrel is button-rifled, hand-lapped, free-floated, and match-chambered for consistent sub-MOA accuracy. A removable stainless steel side-baffle muzzle brake comes standard on the threaded 5/8-24 muzzle. The precision-machined Remington 700 footprint action includes a spiral-fluted dual-lug bolt, enlarged aluminum bolt knob, improved bolt release, enlarged ejection port, and TriggerTech trigger. An internal four-round magazine with an aluminum hinged floor plate provides reliable field-ready feeding, while the standard Remington 700 scope base interface supports the addition of an optic.
