The Cimarron Firearms 1873 Carbine brings the classic lever-action design of the legendary rifle that won the West to a compact carbine configuration. Manufactured by Uberti in Italy, this rifle features a blue steel frame and barrel, a walnut straight stock, and a 19-inch round rifled barrel. Chambered for both .357 Mag and .38 Special, it combines practical versatility with the handling characteristics associated with traditional Western carbines. The tubular magazine holds 10 rounds, with an additional round carried in the chamber. A blade front sight and adjustable ladder rear sight provide a period-appropriate aiming system, while the external hammer and lever action preserve the authentic 1873 operating style.

Shipping was fast. The 1873 carbine was beautiful wood fit and finish is superb. A very nice gluing on the metal parts. Haven't had a chance to use the ladder sights and find out the distances on the numbered elevations. Only thing is the loading gate is stiff and hard to load also has sharp edges that I'm going to fix soon. Other then that I am well pleased with the carbine and with Bud's.
