A: Gary M, Good morning! Here is my experience from order a couple of long guns from Buds. If said firearm was purchased in new condition it will ship to the FFL in the manufacturer's packaging. My rifles were purchased in new condition and the manufacturer, to keep cost in check, shipped in cardboard, however, the packaging was extremely robust and the firearm was very well protected. This manufacturer may ship in hard case and that should be cleared with that company before any transaction. If your firearm was purchased in new condition Buds will check the condition before it ships to you. You are also urged to check the condition of your firearm before you allow your FFL to transfer it to you. If, you find that there is damage do not accept transfer and immediately contact Bud's Customer Service. Buds will also offer insurance at an additional cost for your shipment in case it is lost, stolen or damaged before ownership is transferred to you. Hope this helps.
