This was my second lever gun purchase through Buds Gun Shop. I had been looking for this specific model of a Cimmaron/Uberti reproduction of the Winchester 1873. Bud's made it easy. I registered to be notified when it was back in stock. I received an email, when they got a few units in inventory. I logged in and purchased it right away. Good thing I acted fast. Got the last one. \r \r This model is chambered in .357/.38. The craftmanship is outstanding from the color case hardened receiver to the octagonal barrel that tapers to round, to the beautiful high grade walnut stock with cross-hatchings. \r \r I also purchased a Henry Big Boy, and own a Rossi Model 1892. This 1873 is my favorite. The action is quite smooth and it shoots great. It is a true heirloom quality piece that I'll pass down to my son.\r \r
