1/2x20! 1/2x20!...
1/2x20! 1/2x20! 1/2x20! Did I mention that the barrel is threaded 1/2x20? The description states 1/2x28…no. The answers to questions state 1/2x28…no. It's not a big deal, I bought a quality 1/2x20 to 1/2x28 adapter for around 30 bucks for suppressor use. I bring it up because the "answer people" seem to be more interested in points than informing the questioners. Back to the rifle: The stock is pretty light and not super heavy duty but it completely adequate. The action is remarkably smooth for a firearm at this price point. I am quite impressed with the smoothness of the trigger. Minimal take up and clean break. Based on reviews, I did remove the optic mounts and applied loc tite. Mounted a Redfield 3x9 rimfire scope. Range Report: Indoor range, so completely controlled environment. CCI 40 grain HP. One hundred rounds in five shot groups. Target with five aiming points, 2 inch bullseyes. Zeroed the scope at 25 yards. Moved the target to 50 yards and fired off of a rest, seated. Groups averaged 1.75 inches. Largest @ 2.5 inches. Smallest @ 1.5 inches. Eleven flyers. Zero malfunctions of any kind. And, of course, minimal recoil. All in all a pleasure to shoot and an all around fun gun. I imagine that a steadier hand would tighten up the groups some. I bought this as a fun gun at a price point. It has consistently delivered. I would highly recommend this rifle. And, of course, Bud's came through as usual.
