The CMMG MK47 Mutant AKM2 combines AR-style ergonomics and controls with reliable compatibility for standard AK-47 magazines. Its proprietary billet aluminum upper and lower receivers house a direct gas impingement operating system, while the 16.1-inch medium-taper 4140 steel barrel provides a practical balance of handling and performance. A 15-inch CMMG RKM15 KeyMod handguard offers a free-floated platform for accessories, and the Geissele SSA two-stage trigger supports a controlled trigger press. The rifle arrives optics ready and includes one 30-round magazine.
