The CMMG Mk9LE is a 9mm AR-style semi-automatic rifle configured for duty, defensive use, competition, and recreational shooting. Its 16-inch M4-profile barrel is paired with an A2 compensator and a 1/2x36 threaded muzzle. The rifle features a forged 7075-T6 aluminum M4-style upper receiver, an AR15-style lower receiver, a two-piece M4 handguard, and a six-position M4 collapsible stock. A single-stage mil-spec-style trigger provides a familiar control layout, while the F-marked front sight base and MBUS rear sight deliver a dependable sighting system. The rifle accepts 32-round 9mm magazines and measures 32 inches with the stock collapsed.

After a good cleanup...
After a good cleanup with the provided cleaner/lubricant gun shot great. Good tight solid weapon. I Have shot plenty of factory and personal reloads, FMJ , HP with no issues. Accurate and fun to shot. Added the lifetime warrantee & free shipping to my tab for peace of mind. It's my first CCMG and I'm sure there will be more. Solid magazine made by ASC ordered a few more as only one comes with the original order. I suggest picking up a magazine assist loader made by Maglula to save on the fingers loading a 32 round Mag.

This carbine is a very fun to shoot and super reliable. This is my 3rd one. My only thing I can recommend is getting a metal form magazine instead of the one that CMMG included now. CMMG use to include metal form magazines. But they have since gone to a cheaper quality magazine. But the magazine that comes with them now are out of spec and do not find the mag wells. But CMMG knows most people will just run after market mags.

As typical for me,...
As typical for me, another good transaction with Bud's. The rifle was examined before completing the FFL transfer. No problems noted with the fit and finish. The rifle was dry as far as lubrication is concerned and slight barrel residue from the factory test firing. Once home, the rifle was disassembled, cleaned and lubricated. The magazine that came with the rifle was disassembled and lubricated as well. I dislike the low end milspec 6 position stock but that will be remedied quickly and the hand guard diameter is larger than it needs to be. I have a spare similar hand guard that had a smaller diameter and I'll swap them. As far as the rear sight, I have the same Magpul polymer flip up rear sight on another AR I own and have not had an issue with it. I knew this was a base model carbine from CMMG and would modify it as I have with other factory AR's I've purchased. Overall I am pleased with the carbine and will test fire this Saturday 04.27.19 at Pearland Shooting Club. I'll update this post afterwards.
