The CMMG MkGs Guard DRB2 is a 9mm AR-style rifle built around CMMG’s radial delayed blowback operating system. This design provides reliable 9mm cycling while helping reduce felt recoil and overall platform weight compared with conventional direct blowback systems. The rifle combines a 7075-T6 aluminum receiver set with a 16-inch salt bath nitride-finished 4140 chrome-moly barrel threaded 1/2x36 and fitted with a CMMG SV brake. Its CMMG RKM14 KeyMod free-float handguard, Geissele SSA trigger, Magpul MOE grip, and Magpul CTR adjustable stock provide a practical setup for range use and defensive carbine applications. The Guard feeds from widely available Glock 9mm magazines and includes one 33-round magazine.
