The CMMG MkGs GUARD is a 9mm semi-automatic rifle built around CMMG’s Radial Delayed Blowback operating system. This design is engineered to reduce felt recoil while maintaining reliable operation with Glock-pattern magazines. It features a 16-inch medium-taper 4140CM steel barrel with a 1:10 twist rate, a threaded 1/2x36 muzzle, and a CMMG A2 compensator. The rifle combines a forged 7075-T6 aluminum upper receiver with a billet 7075-T6 aluminum lower receiver, an RKM11 handguard, an A2 pistol grip, and an M4 six-position adjustable stock. Its unloaded weight is 6 pounds, and its overall length is 32.5 inches with the stock collapsed.

Best ar in 9mm hands...
Best ar in 9mm hands down. I tried other brands before and i didn't like the recoil for a 9mm round because the straight blowback design. This one with their delayed blowback is like day and night. Really fun to shoot, very reliable and accurate, very well made rifle, nice finish. Over 600 rds down the pipe and not a single failure. I really recommend this ar to anyone looking for a quality 9mm ar. Buds like always fast shipping great service.

I had a couple of jams...
I had a couple of jams in the first couple of hundred rounds. We are now at over 500 rounds through it and zero issues the last 200+ rounds. The darling husband does not want to shoot any pistol caliber carbines that are not delayed blowback now. He loves how soft shooting it is. It comes with a Glock 31 round mag that has a +2 basepad on it making it 33 rounds. Light weight, runs great, appears to be mil spec (I have changed the trigger, personal choice, the factory trigger is not bad, mine was at only 4 lbs, and safety since we are lefties. We had no issues with things fitting). I will say that CMMG did change their thread pattern on the end of the barrel mid January 2018. So if you get one made before then, then you will have the 1/2 x 36 thread pattern versus the 1/2 x 28. Mine ended up being made beginning of Dec. 2017, so I have the finer thread pattern. I do wish it was the more standard 1/2 x 28, but you can't have everything. Love the gun, can't wait to shoot it in competition. Bud's has the best price on the gun, hands down.
